Infectious Diseases Associates of North Central Florida was founded in 2009 to provide comprehensive state of the art Infectious Disease treatment. Your health is our priority! Our goal is to improve the health of our community by promoting excellence in patient care, education, research, public health, infection control and patient awareness on the threat of emerging infections.

We employ specialists in infectious diseases to diagnose and treat these conditions and help prevent the spread of them throughout the community. Every patient is fully evaluated by a board certified provider and is given the time and opportunity to discuss their concerns. Our staff is always available to answer any of your concerns. Services are provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis through physician consultation. We accept most insurance plans including workers compensation. We make every effort to see all our new patients by our physician within 48 hours of initial referral. Our office is open 7 days a week for infusion therapy including all major holidays and 4 days a week for consulting services. Infectious diseases can be complex, like hepatitis or AIDS, or can be simple in nature, like the flu. Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. Examples of conditions that are commonly evaluated and treated by an infectious disease specialist are:
